About the Role   Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Utility Person II to join our dynamic Facilities Management team. The Enterprise Facilities team is responsible for supporting routine maintenance, cleaning, loading, unloading, receiving/shipping, and moving equipment and supplies. The role adheres to operating procedures and promotes Centre objectives through strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities    Ensuring the safe transport of materials and supplies throughout the facility and designated areas.
Contributing to keeping facilities organized and hazard-free through general maintenance or custodial duties.
Coordinating with departments to support clinical and laboratory operations effectively.
Maintaining a clean and organized environment by adhering to cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
Ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of supplies and equipment through collaboration with logistics and clinical teams.
Ensuring donor-facing and staff areas reflect a high standard of care and operational readiness.
Desired Education and Skills    Grade 12 education and/or at least two years of related work experience in facility support, custodial, porter, or utility roles.
Good oral and written communication skills; fluency in English is required.
