Elevate your career with Credit Valley Conservation as a Lead Hand in Property Management at the Terra Cotta Conservation Area in Halton Hills, Ontario. This full-time position focuses on property management operations, facility maintenance, and team supervision.
In this role, you will report to the Superintendent, Property Management, and be responsible for implementing the property management program while overseeing daily operations on CVC-managed land. Ideal candidates will excel in operating tools and equipment, training staff, and participating in minor building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to develop monthly and seasonal work plans
• Train hourly staff on safety and equipment usage
• Assess and document property-related risks effectively
• Lead health and safety inspections in conservation areas
• Execute maintenance tasks across facilities and trails
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in parks or resource management
• Valid Ontario Class 'G' driver's license
• 2 years related experience in park operations
• Certification in Chainsaw Operation is required
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
