Join Capital Power as a Maintenance Coordinator, overseeing vital repair and preventive maintenance activities. This role involves strategic work scheduling and resource management in a safety-sensitive facility.
In this position, you'll report directly to the Maintenance Manager, where you'll utilize your expertise in planning and coordination to ensure all resources, including materials and contractors, are in place. You'll also have the opportunity to drive continuous improvements in safety and efficiency by collaborating with various teams and adhering to best practices in maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan work orders using technical expertise
• Investigate resource requirements for projects
• Schedule maintenance and coordinate with teams
• Provide support during planned outages
• Generate and update preventive maintenance orders
Requirements:
• Preferred degree or technical diploma
• Five years in power plant maintenance
• Previous industrial planning experience
• Proficiency in maintenance planning software
• Trade certifications highly desirable
