Plate Mounter - APLPP

The company is located at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.

The candidate will be doing all 3 shifts as below: (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS). The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule

Morning

Shift: 7 am-3:15pm at Base Pay Rate ($26-28 per hour, depending upon the experience)
Afternoon

Shift: 3pm- 11:15pm at Base Pay + $ 0.75 (as afternoon shift premium)
Night

Shift: 11:15pm-7:15am at Base Pay + $1.25 (as night shift premium)

- * The client is looking for candidates who are available to work full-time and are not attending school.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



Discusses priorities, deadlines and machine assignments with Lead Hand


Liaises with Supervisor to determine mounting priorities and deadlines


Reads dockets and sample boards to determine mounting specs


Lifts mandrels and printing sleeves on & off plate mounter


Measures and sets up cameras for plate mounting.


Prepares, inspects & mounts printing plates onto sleeves.


Put away sleeves and maintain sleeve storage area


Communicate with the supervisor and press operator to trouble shoot problems


Repairs mounted jobs on the plate mounter and on press


Adheres to all Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations


Ensures cleanliness of the work area


Requirements:


WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read and interpret English information and instructions
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and do repetitive lifting of sleeves during the shift.

Education/

Experience:

- At least 1 year of Mounting experience
- Prior knowledge of the print industry
- Flexographic Machine experience
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of printing program/diploma an asset


Qualifications:



SELECTION CRITERIA:
- An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
- Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for an interview
- Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
- Police clearance check is a MUST
- Double vaccination status is required
