Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

This position involves piecing together parts according to drawings and procedures using tools and fasteners.

• Perform a variety of subassembly and final assembly operations on units with variable shapes and sizes.
• Follow established methods and procedures to make designated assemblies using hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Conduct, analyze, and record test results.
• Ensure the job meets all requirements before leaving the work center.
• Meet or exceed established production levels.
• Participate in supplier development.

• 1.5+ years performing mechanical assembly.
• 1.5+ years performing electrical assembly.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience working off of blueprints, diagrams, or electrical schematics.

Eligible for profit sharing after 1 year with the company. The time on contract counts towards this year. Profit sharing equals 10%, adding approximately $10,000 per year into an RRSP account. The environment boasts high ceilings and is well-lit, with a friendly team and nice supervisors.

The work environment is within a medium-sized manufacturing company featuring six assembly workstations, eight welding cells, a paint booth, and an epoxy mold department with over ten machines. The facility is over 200,000 square feet, very clean, and brightly lit. The role requires working straight afternoons from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with a $1 premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brampton,ON.
