Position Description
Shift pattern is:
Day shiftMonday to Friday40 hours per weekOpportunities for overtime availableResponsibilities include:
Programs, operates and maintains the following machines: CNC and lathesReviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate productionTakes precise measurements for cutting or shapingSelects appropriate machine and settings for a given taskPlans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignmentFollow all workplace safety protocolQuality assurance of partsExperience
3 to 5 years minimum of CNC lathe operation3 years of CNC lathe programming, ideally on Haas Machines and on Mastercam programQualifications
Should be able to do programming in computerShould have experience with Fanuc Controls / Haas ControlsAble to lift 30-40 pounds lbs.Able to read Drawings / BlueprintsAble to work with tool steel D-2, H-13, P10, P20, M-2, M-4 Etc.Should have experience with Ceramic tools and Inserts
