* Job Summary:

** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team s position is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging Victaulic valve assemblies to meet customer specifications. The role involves working within a mechanical assembly environment and adhering to Lean Manufacturing principles and company safety standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* • Select proper components for assembly.  
• Assemble components according to customer specifications and engineering instructions.  
• Perform testing of assembled valves and maintain accurate records.  
• Package assembled valves for shipping.  
• Follow standard work practices, method sheets, and instructions.  
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Lean Manufacturing processes and FEM requirements.  
• Report damages or malfunctions of equipment and tools to the supervisor.  
• Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.  
• Adhere to company policies and safety rules.  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
** Education and Skill Requirements:*
* • 3–5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment.  
• Crane training is an asset.  
• Knowledge of general assembly and testing processes.  
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow engineering instructions.  
• Proficiency in using general assembly tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, etc.  
• Experience using measuring equipment, including vernier calipers.  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
• Assembly experience with pipe fittings is an asset.
** Compensation: $20.00/hour
