Afternoon Spot Welder

Step into a vital spot welding role in Brampton, Ontario, as a technician who ensures precision and quality in metal components during the afternoon shift. Your expertise in resistance spot welding will directly impact product quality and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Spot Welder with at least 1.5 years in welding or metal fabrication, preferably with spot welding skills. In this contract position, you will set up and operate welding machines, inspect joints, and maintain a safe workspace, all while collaborating in a team of 4 under a lead hand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate spot-welding machines accurately

• Inspect welded joints ensuring strength and precision

• Assemble components and reinforcements prior to welding

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Report equipment issues for timely resolution

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years welding or fabrication experience

• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with steel fabrication processes

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Basic math and measurement skills
