CNC Setup Programmer

This role requires a seasoned expert in programming and setting up Twin Spindle Twin Turret CNC Lathes. You will be responsible for optimizing CNC programs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring operations run smoothly. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance processes using Lean manufacturing techniques for efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes

• Set up machines for operators, including repeat job setups

• Troubleshoot and adjust programming for efficiency

• Participate in tool and fixture selection for new parts

• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years programming Twin Spindle Twin Turret CNC Lathes

• Proficient in bar feeders and chucking setups

• Skilled in reading technical drawings and GD&T

• Experience with measuring equipment and CMM

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
