Pay Rate:  $21.50/hour

Shift:  Must be flexible to work Days, Afternoons & Nights, weekends inclusive (Shift start times may vary based on production needs.)
Training:  July 26th (Day Shift)
Our client, is a leading food manufacturing company in Etobicoke specializing in high-quality baked goods. They are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their warehouse team. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced GMP food production environment.

Job Duties:

Operate Counterbalance, 2-Long, and Walkie forklifts safely and efficiently
Offload incoming trailers and inspect shipments for accuracy
Stage raw materials and finished products for production and shipping
Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment
Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
Follow FIFO procedures and maintain accurate inventory movement
Assist with shipping and receiving activities as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP and food safety standards
Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support daily operations
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid external forklift certifications in Counterbalance, 2-Long, and Walkie (in-house certifications are not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment is required
Experience loading and unloading trailers
Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
Flexibility to accommodate changing shift start times based on production requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Must be reliable with excellent attendance
Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check
