CPI is looking for a skilled and hands-on Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll build, test, troubleshoot, and rework complex electro-mechanical assemblies while helping ensure our products meet demanding quality and performance standards. We’re looking for someone with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and pride in their workmanship. YOU

WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORCore Responsibilities
  • Build, tune, test, and rework electro-mechanical assemblies to a high standard of quality, following all technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform functional and performance testing of assemblies using approved test procedures.
  • Interpret assembly, electrical, and mechanical drawings to execute build and test activities accurately.
  • Support root cause failure analysis on new builds and field returned products in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and the Program Management Office.
  • Contribute to workstation organization and maintenance, including 5S practices and “clean as you go” standards.
  • Support factory station upkeep and actively promote safe working practices across all operations.
  • Meet production timelines and support on time delivery of products.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE Technical Skills & Expertise
  • Proficient with RF and electronic test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and vector signal analyzers, considered an asset.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to build, inspect, and troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Capable of diagnosing analog and digital circuitry down to the component level.
  • Able to understand and apply technical instructions, inspection criteria, and safety processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, review, and improve product and process documentation.
  • Experience with RF measurements and testing is considered an asset.

Education & Certifications
  • Community College Graduate from a three year Electronics Engineering Technologist program, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands on industry experience.
  • IPC J STD 001 certification is required.
