Position: Full-Time Metal Melting Operator
Location: Georgetown

Step into the role of Foundry Operator with Howmet Aerospace in Georgetown, Ontario. This full-time position centers on melting and casting metal while adhering to strict quality and safety requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for various activities, including melting metal, transporting castings, and ensuring a clean workspace. You'll follow specific processes for pouring molten metal, operating furnace equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Your attention to detail will help maintain high-quality standards in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform melting and casting of metal with precision

• Load and remove shells from ovens efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

• Operate melting pots and monitor temperatures

• Safely transport molten metal as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to read operational and safety instructions

• Must follow Environmental and Health policies

• Understanding of casting quality standards

• Forklift operation experience is a plus
