As a part of Nucor, North America’s leading fabricator, you will operate machines such as shears and bending equipment, playing a critical role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include assembling orders, unloading materials, and maintaining a safe shop environment with the support of experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut and bend steel using specialized machinery
• Store materials safely and efficiently
• Load fabricated products for shipping
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety guidelines diligently
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills for measurement calculations
• Previous shop experience is a plus
• Evening shift availability is required
• Capability for lifting heavy materials and enduring various conditions
