We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 1 to 2 years in the field. The successful candidate will compute dimensions, measure work pieces, and set up machine tools for precise manufacturing operations. Knowledge of engineering drawings and fabrication processes is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compute dimensions and tolerances for machine parts
• Measure and lay out work pieces for assembly
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring tools
• Cut materials to specifications using various tools
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of CNC machining experience
• CEGEP or equivalent certificate/diploma
• WHMIS Certificate required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle up to 50 lbs of material
