Brannon Steel is actively looking for a skilled operator experienced in 2-axis CNC plasma cutting machines for its Brampton manufacturing location. You will be responsible for setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machines while ensuring safety. Strong manual handling skills and the ability to read part drawings are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and troubleshoot 2-axis CNC plasma cutting machines
• Move large steel parts using overhead cranes
• Read and interpret production documents accurately
• Perform quality inspections on finished parts
• Document and report any production issues
Requirements:
• Experience with 2-axis or 3-axis CNC machines
• Valid overhead crane operation certification
• Ability to lift up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)
• Conversational English communication skills
• Willingness to work night shifts from Sunday to Thursday
