Handle extrusion dies at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton, using tooling knowledge, organization, and attention to detail.
The Die Handler prepares dies for scheduled orders at the correct extrusion press. You will deliver dies according to work order sequence, clean excess aluminum, process caustic tanks, and use the Epics system. The work supports Can Art’s standard and custom aluminum profile production.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver required dies to presses by work order sequence
- Load dies into caustic cycles and clean buildup
- Separate hollow and feeder dies for processing
- Load dies into sandblasters and set cycle times
- Assemble and break down tooling safely
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year as die handler or operator
- Basic computer skills and English reading ability
- Strong organization, multitasking, and time management skills
- Availability for rotating shifts and occasional overtime
Bring die handling, tooling, and manufacturing skills to Can Art’s Brampton extrusion plant and scheduled press operations.
