Build precision parts for Savaria’s accessibility products in Brampton, applying CNC setup, milling, and quality-control expertise on site.
As a Precision Machining Lathe Operator, you will follow production schedules and job orders while producing parts to specified dimensions. The work includes operating manual and CNC equipment, selecting tools and cutting speeds, and monitoring machine performance. Accuracy, safety, and efficient production are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow production schedules and supervisor job orders
- Select tools, fixtures, and cutting speeds
- Monitor machine performance during operation
- Conduct quality checks on completed parts
- Maintain production logs and documentation
- Proven CNC and manual lathe operating experience
- Manufacturing or machining experience preferred
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Geometry, trigonometry, and measurement mathematics proficiency
- Strong accuracy, communication, and coordination skills
Use machining, inspection, and documentation skills to support accurate production of Savaria parts in Brampton’s on-site facility.
