Public Relations & Copywriter Specialist

Avahi is seeking a Public Relations & Copywriter Specialist to support the company's growing public relations, communications, content, and external engagement activities. The Public Relations & Copywriter Specialist will be responsible for developing and coordinating communications initiatives that increase Avahi's visibility, strengthen its brand, support its relationships with AWS and industry partners, and communicate the company's AI and cloud expertise to customers, media, partners, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will combine strong writing and communications skills with an understanding of public relations, content marketing, digital communications, and technology. The position requires the ability to communicate complex AWS, cloud computing, and AI concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop and coordinate public relations campaigns, including preparing press releases and conducting outreach to journalists, media outlets, and relevant industry publications.
• Research and identify relevant media opportunities and develop relationships with journalists and industry contacts to increase Avahi's visibility and coverage.
• Research, coordinate, and manage submissions for AWS, technology, industry, and business awards, ensuring applications are accurate, compelling, and submitted within required deadlines.
• Establish, update, and maintain Avahi's profiles and listings on relevant business, technology, and industry directories, including platforms such as Clutch.
• Develop and implement initiatives to obtain customer reviews, testimonials, and video testimonials to support Avahi's marketing and public relations activities.
• Manage the AWS Seller newsletter and assist with marketing and internal newsletters, including content development, editing, scheduling, and distribution.
• Coordinate the development and publication of case studies, blogs, and customer success stories by working with internal teams and clients to collect information, obtain approvals, and ensure timely publication.
• Prepare customer stories and supporting documentation for use in AWS communications, award submissions, public relations campaigns, marketing materials, and other external communications.
• Support the planning and execution of webinars by coordinating communications, content, messaging, and promotional materials in accordance with Avahi's brand standards.
• Provide communications and marketing support to the Head of Marketing, including assisting with communications and meetings involving AWS and other strategic partners.
• Maintain Avahi's brand voice and messaging across press releases, website content, newsletters, webinars, briefs, customer communications, social media, and other external materials.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to support guest-blogging opportunities, media placements, backlink development, and other initiatives designed to increase Avahi's online visibility and authority.
• Work with the social media and marketing teams to coordinate PR-related announcements, company news, customer stories, product and service updates, and other external communications.
• Support partnership initiatives by assisting with research, communications, outreach, and coordination with potential and existing partners.
• Develop and coordinate Avahi's podcast initiatives, including content planning, guest research, scheduling, communications, and coordination with podcast hosts, agents, and other industry contacts.
• Identify relevant podcasts, media opportunities, speaking opportunities, and other industry platforms and coordinate outreach to secure opportunities for Avahi representatives.
• Assist with developing communications strategies that position Avahi as a knowledgeable and trusted provider of AWS, cloud, and AI solutions.
• Monitor PR, communications, technology, cloud computing, and AI industry trends and identify opportunities for increased media exposure, thought leadership, awards, partnerships, and other forms of external engagement.
• Translate technical information about AWS, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and related technologies into clear and engaging communications for customers, media, partners, and industry audiences.
• Coordinate multiple communications and PR projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and company objectives are met.
