Location: Georgetown
Enhance nursing practices as a part-time Registered Nurse imize patient care quality in community home care while adhering to established nursing standards.
In this role, the Registered Nurse will manage and evaluate resident care, supervise nursing staff, and assist in developing comprehensive care plans. Your experience in community or long-term care will be vital, alongside your ability to work both independently and with a team. Effective communication skills and creative problem-solving will enhance your daily contributions to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and physician orders
• Assist in assessing and monitoring patient care
• Manage and evaluate nursing and personal care staff
• Conduct performance appraisals and address issues
• Provide guidance in the Director’s absence
Requirements:
• Current certificate of competence from an approved institution
• Registered/eligible for registration with the province
• Previous experience in community/long-term care
• Strong prioritization and teamwork skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
