This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a strong background in wound care. You will leverage your extensive nursing expertise to consult, lead training programs, and promote high-quality patient-focused care. Collaboration within the interprofessional team is vital to optimize healing for patients with complex wounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for complex wounds
• Coordinate innovative training programs for families and caregivers
• Provide advanced clinical consultation on wound care issues
• Facilitate knowledge translation in unpredictable clinical settings
• Support nursing practice by mentoring and consulting
Requirements:
• Current Ontario nursing registration in good standing
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field
• Wound Care Education certification required
• 3 years of experience in clinical wound care
• Experience in Advanced Practice Nursing preferred
Drive excellence in wound care and nursing education at Sinai Health – Mount Sinai Hospital.
