Join Osler as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Cardiology Unit, focusing on patient safety and exceptional care during evening and night shifts. This part-time role offers a chance to apply your expertise in nursing.
As a key member of the healthcare team at Osler, you will provide quality nursing care to patients with manageable conditions in the Cardiology Unit. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe and effective nursing during shifts
• Ensure professional patient-centric approaches
• React promptly to health status changes
• Deliver educational support to patients and their families
• Follow strict infection control measures consistently
Requirements:
• Recent experience in cardiology and acute medicine (2 years)
• Certification in Coronary Care 1 needed
• Must pass required exams with 80%
• Experience with ECGs and patient care significantly preferred
• Knowledge of TPN, NG tubes, and IV protocols recommended
