Position: Assistant Director of Care Leadership Role

Lead with purpose as the Assistant Director of Care at Extendicare Halton Hills, where your focus on quality and compassion shapes resident care experiences.

This full-time position involves collaborating closely with the Director of Care to elevate service standards and oversee efficient clinical operations. You will be pivotal in advocating resident safety, engaging families, and driving employee satisfaction through mentorship and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical areas to align with Extendicare’s care model

• Develop and implement quality improvement strategies

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams and community partners

• Foster team development with mentorship and training initiatives

Requirements:

• At least three years as a Registered Nurse in long-term care

• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities

• In-depth knowledge of EHR systems like Point Click Care

• Valid CPR certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong organizational and time management skills
