Provide critical care within the military as a Nurse Practitioner. Engage in a collaborative practice within Canadian Armed Forces, facilitating health services in various environments.
This role allows you to support health care delivery to CAF members, focusing on both Primary and Acute Care. As a part-time practitioner, remain based at your Reserve unit while contributing to the healthcare team’s operations. Field assignments will enable you to further refine your skills and experience in diverse medical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct primary and acute care for military personnel
• Work with healthcare teams to manage patient care
• Supervise health service operations in your practice area
• Participate in military training and deployments
• Enhance skills through specialized training programs
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Canada
• Experience required in Adult Primary or Acute Care
• Completion of requisite military training is mandatory
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and challenging environments
• Eagerness to advance knowledge through ongoing training
