Position: Extendicare Assistant Director of Care
Location: Georgetown

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will manage clinical areas and promote a culture of safety and quality improvement. With a focus on resident-centered care, your role includes engaging families and staff to foster better resident satisfaction and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage areas of care delivery per Extendicare’s model

• Identify risks, collaborate, and implement strategies

• Ensure adherence to legislative and accreditation standards

• Optimize resident care through teamwork and collaboration

• Lead initiatives focused on quality and clinical improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum three years in long-term care; one year managerial experience

• Valid RN registration with the provincial licensing body

• Current CPR certification required

• Strong communication and team leadership abilities

• Experience with EHR systems such as Point Click Care
