Registered Nurse at Humber River Health

Humber River Health is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse for temporary part-time work in surgical clinics. Utilize your expertise to enhance patient care at the Wilson Site.

In this role, you will carry out scrubbing and circulating tasks in minor surgical procedures while ensuring high-quality post-operative care. Your experience in inpatient and ambulatory clinics, along with excellent interpersonal skills, will be vital for effective teamwork and patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in minor surgical clinics

• Provide post-surgical patient care and support

• Assist with orthopedic procedures in fracture clinics

• Collaborate with team members in care planning

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in systems

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 2 years of nursing experience

• Preferred certification in Health assessment and Wound Management

• Strong skills in IV therapy and patient teaching

• Excellent attendance and discipline-free record
