Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse Position

Reporting to the Director of Care or Health & Wellness, this role demands your expertise in managing resident assessments and care plans. Your responsibilities include providing direct care, administering medication, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential to effectively participate in resident care conferences and address family concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide planned, goal-directed nursing care

• Document accurate resident assessments and care plans

• Administer medications and treatments safely

• Educate residents and families about care strategies

• Respond to medical emergencies with first aid measures

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse with CNO registration

• Experience in long-term care preferred

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
