You will play a crucial part in providing nursing services across different units, ensuring high-quality patient care during your shifts. Candidates must possess a current RN registration and recent experience in Medical and Surgical settings. Your ability to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds will be vital in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing services in Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units
• Work rotating shifts, covering various times including weekends
• Engage in effective communication with patients and staff
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments on patients
• Support teaching and educational initiatives for patients
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years relevant Medical/Surgical experience
• Current BCLS certification or proven competency
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
• Commitment to equity and diversity in healthcare
