Position: Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse Role
Join Extendicare as a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, fulfilling critical nursing responsibilities in a senior living environment. Work collaboratively to provide goal-oriented care while ensuring compliance with provincial standards.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will be integral in delivering patient-centered nursing care. Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments, managing care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential, as is a commitment to ethical care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and evaluate resident care/service plans

• Provide direct care and medication administration

• Coordinate nursing team's care assignments

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid

• Facilitate resident and family education sessions

Requirements:

• Current registration with CNO as Registered Practical Nurse

• Experience in senior care settings preferred

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Complete Vulnerable Sector Check required
