As an Obstetrics Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care during labor and delivery. This position requires a solid foundation in nursing practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Together with an inter-professional team, you will ensure exceptional standards of care for your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for patients
• Recognize and act swiftly in health emergencies
• Educate patients and families for successful discharges
Requirements:
• Two years of obstetric nursing experience required
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Enrollment in Neonatal Resuscitation Program necessary
• Fetal Health Surveillance completion needed within six months
• Completion of Breastfeeding e-learning course required
