Lead the care for patients with complex mental health conditions in a full-time Registered Nurse role at Providence Care Hospital. Focus on enhancing patient outcomes and collaborative care.
In this temporary, full-time Registered Nurse position, you will be instrumental in delivering care to individuals requiring specialized mental health services. Utilizing your nursing process skills, you will collaborate with patients and the clinical team, adhering to prescribed plans that foster positive patient journeys toward wellness. This role requires recent psychiatric care experience and a commitment to professional growth and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing history assessments
• Create and register collaborative, goal-oriented care plans
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
• Accurately implement prescribed care protocols
• Adjust nursing care plans based on patient evaluations
Requirements:
• Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent acute psychiatric nursing experience
• Preferably hold a BSc.N.
• Current CPR certification is essential
• Strong professional judgment in patient care
