Acute Care Registered Nurse Position

Take your nursing career to the next level as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, where your skills will impact patient outcomes. Must be available for varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

The MHA is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide acute care for CTAS triage levels. A minimum of two years of emergency experience, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and proven clinical skills are necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for emergency room patients

• Collaborate actively with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail under stress

• Document patient interactions and outcomes promptly

• Utilize effective body mechanics in patient handling

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Proof of immunity and vaccination records

• At least two years of relevant nursing experience

• Current BLS-HCP certification

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
