Registered Practical Nurse at Sienna

Make a difference in seniors’ lives as a Registered Practical Nurse at Maple Grove Community in Brampton. You will provide compassionate care and uphold dignity while connecting with each resident’s story.

At Sienna Senior Living, our focus is on providing fulfilling lives for our seniors. This Registered Practical Nurse role involves delivering nursing care in accordance with policy, physician orders, and established care plans. You will also oversee Personal Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care while fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care per established policies and resident care plans

• Ensure excellent personal care using sound nursing principles

• Create a welcoming atmosphere through teamwork and communication

• Oversee resident care, maintaining communication with families

• Supervise personal support workers and other team members

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses

• Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset

• Good judgment and ability to identify risks

• Eligible to work in Canada with a valid permit

• Pass a Vulnerable Sector and/or Criminal Record Check
