Become a vital part of the healthcare team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres as a Clinic Nurse in Brampton, Ontario. This part-time role focuses on delivering compassionate care for patients with opiate dependency using evidence-based practices.
As a Clinic Nurse, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic support in harm reduction strategies. Your ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their challenges will enhance their treatment experience in a busy clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and ensure proper documentation
• Plan and coordinate treatment alongside healthcare teams
• Conduct ECGs and manage patient vitals
• Facilitate patient education about treatment protocols
• Maintain accuracy in Electronic Medical Records
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in nursing
• Relevant experience in addiction treatment settings
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Active membership with the College of Nurses
• Training in Phlebotomy and ECG preferred
