As a community-based agency, CMHA Peel Dufferin offers a role for a Relief Registered Nurse as part of the Outreach team. You will deliver nursing care through the mobile health clinic while promoting skills that empower clients facing mental health challenges. Flexibility is key, working 12-hour shifts to provide consistent support to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Outreach Mobile Health Clinic
• Build client relationships based on trust and respect
• Collaborate with mental health service providers
• Conduct assessments and communicate treatment plans
• Manage pharmaceuticals under supervision
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario
• 4-5 years' experience with addictions and mental illness
• Certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence
• Valid driver's license and vulnerable sector check
