Contribute to community wellness as a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to mental health. Support individuals with addiction and housing challenges through a community-based care hub.
In this part-time role, you'll work alongside a skilled team targeting the integration of mental health and addiction services. With your expertise, you can improve access to comprehensive health solutions for vulnerable populations, driving change in recovery and social inclusion efforts. Engage directly with clients while addressing their unique healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and manage health issues for clients
• Collaborate with other care providers for holistic support
• Interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate necessary treatments
• Offer home and clinic support to clients with addictions
• Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing therapy options
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing and RN-EC license required
• Minimum of 2 years in mental health or addictions
• Experience with concurrent disorders an asset
• Sound knowledge of mental health legislation
• Strong communication skills with a diverse clientele
