Day Shift PACU Nurse at MercyOne

Provide expert post-anesthesia care as a full-time PACU Nurse at Mercy One in Northeast Iowa. Join a dedicated team focused on personalized patient care and communication across all ages.

As part of the vibrant Post Anesthesia Care Unit, this full-time position involves caring for patients recovering from surgery. RNs will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while supervising LPNs and PCAs. Facilitate essential communication with families, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient care plans

• Supervise care provided by LPNs and PCAs

• Facilitate communication among team members

• Care for patients of all ages post-surgery

• Coordinate with families and physicians as needed

Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN license required

• BSN preferred but not necessary

• No prior experience required

• Call availability for shift coverage

• Commitment to patient-focused care
