Genentech is looking for a Principal Scientist with a focus on induced proximity small molecule discovery. Your expertise in computational science will facilitate collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring the integration of computational methodologies in drug discovery. This critical role emphasizes leadership in developing advanced predictive models and disseminating scientific insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of advanced molecular dynamics and affinity predictions

• Collaborate with AI team on protein-ligand co-folding solutions

• Present findings to internal and external project stakeholders

• Engage with Biochemical Pharmacology and Safety teams

• Encourage an interdisciplinary team environment focused on discovery

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Biophysics, or related field

• 0-6 years of industry/research experience post-Ph.D.

• Proven record in induced proximity design projects

• Strong foundation in molecular modeling principles

• Proficient in Python and HPC environments
