Location:
Brampton, Ontario
Duration: 4-12 months
Level: Undergraduate / Master's (Co-op) Term:
Fall 2025 Intake (Sept-Dec or extendable to Jan)
Join our biotechnology team to create biological interfaces for nano-scale gas and liquid biosensors. You'll work in wet labs and contribute to real-world testing and validation.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and apply biological materials on sensor surfaces
- Conduct chemical assays and testing protocols
- Record biological reactions to gas/liquid exposure
- Analyze test results for performance optimization
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary sensor development
Skills:
- Wet lab and bioscience lab experience
- Knowledge of biosensor surface chemistry
- Handling pipettes, reagents, lab safety tools
- Data collection and analysis
- Research curiosity and experimental rigor
- Precision and care in biological handling
- Clear reporting and teamwork
- Open-mindedness to multidisciplinary input
