We are currently accepting applications for:
Store Team Lead As Store Lead, you are a key Team Member who is responsible for Front End and Cash Departments operations, as well as overseeing the floor during shifts.
This is a hands-on position. They will train and supervise staff and ensure LGG standards are maintained, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Supervise, coach, and train staff at Cash and Customer Service on processes, policies, and best practices.
Responsible for smooth and effective operations of the Front End.
Coordinate cashiers' workflow and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of store duties.
Greets customers, answers queries, provide cashier services as required, and administers payments and refunds.
Liaise with Department Leads and management to execute daily tasks.
Liaise with Merchandiser & Owner on seasonal store layout and overall strategy of change over of seasonal product lines.
Reconciliation of till as required.
Opening and closing procedures.
Able to interact with customers and provide them with suggestions/recommendations for our diverse group of clientele.
Receives and assists with merchandising of products in-store. Process returns, back orders, etc.
Utilize knowledge of computer programs, reordering systems, and reporting tools to aid purchasing operations in maintaining proper stock levels, accurate cost of goods, and accurate inventory.
Maintain a filing system for all vendor-related documents.
Assist store and distribution associates with questions and problems.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Health and Safety compliance, cleaning, and maintenance of the front end.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Front End/Cash, POS, Merchandising.
Stays abreast of trends.
5 years of retail experience.
High school diploma (or equivalent), or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Good organization and communication skills. Leadership skills.
Works well in a team environment.
Flexible schedule and available on weekends/public holidays.
Demonstrate proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
Lift; carry and load 30 pounds (minimum) weight requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
