Retail Cashier Merchandise Associate

Support Giant Tiger shoppers in Cochrane through accurate cashiering, merchandise replenishment, and attentive customer service every day.
As a full-time Store Associate, you will help maintain smooth checkout operations and product availability. The position combines electronic transaction recording with replenishment, hot-selling item follow-up, markdowns, SKU changes, planogram maintenance, and cycle counts. You will also follow Tobacco, Lottery, health and safety, and loss prevention policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately record customer transactions electronically
- Follow up on hot-selling items and complete markdowns
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Follow Tobacco, Lottery, and loss prevention policies
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage varied tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift or move up to 18 kilograms
