About The Job

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full‑time Security Guard in Halton Hills, Ontario.

• Reception & Gatehouse security guard.
• Full‑time.
• Available for Morning & Afternoon Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM & 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or Afternoon & Night Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM & 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Must drive (have own vehicle).

• Use telecommunications (i.e., two‑way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Visitor access control.
• Maintain order and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrol.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs.
