Overnight Security Professional

Join Allied Universal as an Overnight Security Professional in Brampton, Ontario. This Full Time position entails safeguarding the homeless shelter during nighttime hours and responding to various emergencies.

A pivotal part of this role is to control access to the shelter and ensure a secure environment for all residents. Your expertise in handling conflicts and emergencies will be crucial. The role also involves close cooperation with shelter staff to implement essential security protocols and maintain order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor shelter access and verify identities

• De-escalate disputes with professionalism

• Rapidly respond to medical and security emergencies

• Patrol buildings to deter crime and ensure safety

• Document incidents accurately and in detail

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in challenging environments

• Valid Ontario Security License required

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

• First Aid and CPR certification expected
