The Métis Nation of Ontario is actively seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Support Worker role. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a diploma or certificate from a related program. With 1-2 years of experience preferred, this role encompasses dedicated service and support in social services, integral to community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to clients in various social service needs
• Conduct assessments and create service plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Attend training and development sessions
Requirements:
• Fluent in English communication skills
• Certificate or diploma from a recognized program
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in social services
• Availability for morning, day, and evening shifts
• Commitment to fostering community well-being
