Position: Employment Support Worker
Advance your career with the Canadian Mental Health Association as an Employment Support Worker in Brampton. You'll help clients navigate job searches and placements through a supportive community approach.

This contract full-time role, lasting until March 31st, 2027, focuses on empowering clients with mental health challenges towards competitive employment. You'll work closely with the Vocational Services team, creating tailored Individualized Employment Action Plans while maintaining a manageable caseload. Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit clients and assess job readiness

• Conduct vocational assessments and create plans

• Assist clients in job searching and placements

• Manage caseload with regular evaluations

• Provide onsite support as dictated by client needs

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field

• 2 years’ experience in vocational initiatives

• Knowledge of IPS model and Supported Employment

• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse populations

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
