Become a vital part of White Buffalo Treatment Centre as a full-time Youth Support Worker. You will support and supervise youth, ensuring their safety in a dynamic environment.
The Youth Support Worker (YSW) role at White Buffalo Treatment Centre involves collaborating with professionals to provide essential client care. You will communicate key information, enforce policies, and intervene as needed while facilitating group activities. This position promotes cultural diversity through active engagement in programming and includes various supportive duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with therapists and team members for client support
• Ensure client safety and enforce center policies
• Communicate essential information regarding clients’ well-being
• Provide minor first aid and intervene in behavioral issues
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the Centre
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma and 2 years of related experience
• De-escalation skills essential for client interaction
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with reliable transport
• Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check
• Availability for shift work across evenings and weekends
