This temporary, approximately 11-month position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you support. As a Direct Support Professional, you will help clients develop their unique skills and foster their independence. The role requires working directly in the community and a commitment to recognizing individuals' rights and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living

• Foster skill development and community integration

• Collaborate with families and support networks

• Advocate for individuals' rights and personal choices

• Ensure a respectful and inclusive environment

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation access for necessary travel

• Preferred 6 months relevant experience

• Background as a Developmental Services Worker

• Post-secondary education in a related field

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
