Community Activation Aide

Make a difference in residents' lives as an Activation Aide at Maple Grove Community, Brampton. This role focuses on program facilitation and enhancing connections.

As an Activation Aide, you'll coordinate and execute activities that resonate with the needs of residents. With a foundational background in recreation and therapeutic practices, you'll assess individual needs and design impactful programs. Your interaction and planning will foster a sense of community and engagement among seniors, enhancing their day-to-day experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate engaging activities and events

• Facilitate small and large group programs effectively

• Conduct resident assessments to establish personalized goals

• Document and evaluate activities and resident progress

• Collaborate with other therapeutic programs and services

Requirements:

• Diploma in recreational therapy or related field

• Certification in First Aid and CPR

• Valid Food Handlers Certificate

• Experience in program planning and documentation

• Pass police and tuberculosis screening as required
