Job Description:

Hybrid role (2-3 days a week in office) at HPE St-Laurent Office: 2344 Alfred-Nobel, St-Laurent QC .

Responsibilities:

• Leads the development of complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for building efficient, scalable and robust cloud subsystems.

• Reviews and evaluates designs, test plans, and develops code for compliance with cloud design and development guidelines and standards.

• Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.

• Represents the engineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members.

• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.

• Analyzes science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Education and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline.

• Typically, 7-10 years’ experience.

Knowledge and

Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java/Python.

• Understanding microservice architecture and how they can be built in a containerized, Kubernetes-managed environment is central to all modern cloud-native applications.

• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into the overall architecture.

• Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals at senior management levels.

• Dirige le développement de produits et plateformes complexes, incluant la conception de solutions, l’analyse, le développement, les tests et l’intégration afin de bâtir des sous-systèmes cloud perform ants, évolutifs et robustes.

• Évalue et vérifie les conceptions, plans de test et développe du code conforme aux normes de conception et de développement cloud.

• Apporte un retour d’expérience tangible pour améliorer la qualité des produits et atténuer les risques.

• Représente l’équipe d’ingénierie dans divers forums techniques et apporte un mentorat aux membres moins expérimentés.

• Favorise l’innovation et l’intégration de nouvelles technologies dans les projets et activités de l’organisation de conception de systèmes logiciels.

• Analyse des problèmes liés à la science, l'ingénierie, les affaires et d'autres traitements de données afin de proposer et mettre en œuvre des solutions aux problèmes applicatifs, aux enjeux d'administration système ou aux préoccupations réseau.

• Diplôme de niveau baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, ingénierie, systèmes d'information ou discipline quantitative équivalente.

• Expérience généralement requise de 7 à 10 ans.
