Location: Georgetown
Be a key player as an Enterprise Android Engineer at Toast, a leader in hospitality software, working remotely in Canada. Focus on building and maintaining scalable Android applications using Java or Kotlin.
In this role, you will lead efforts to design and implement new features for Toast's enterprise management products. You’ll engage in cross-team collaboration to ensure projects are completed successfully while maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will support fellow engineers by providing mentorship in best practices for Android development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable Android application features
• Lead complex projects to enhance software reliability
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for feature design
• Ensure high-quality implementation through testing
• Mentor peers for improved engineering practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of Android development experience
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin language
• Familiarity with testing, quality assurance, and best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
