Elevate your career as a Mainframe Developer in Toronto, ON. Join us to develop and enhance critical COBOL applications in a fast-paced Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance environment.
In this role, you'll leverage over five years of expertise in Mainframe Development, focusing on designing and maintaining COBOL applications. You'll also support CICS systems and optimize DB2 database programs while collaborating with teams to enhance and modernize applications within the BFSI sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications
• Support CICS online transaction processing systems
• Develop and optimize DB2 database programs
• Create and maintain JCL batch jobs
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide app support
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Mainframe Development experience
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
• Experience with IBM z/OS environments
• Familiarity with financial systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
